I'll guide you with gentle prompts, help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and create space for genuine moments to unfold without forcing perfect poses.
The result is a gallery filled with authentic images that reflect your story exactly as it is.
FAQ
What should we wear?
After booking, I'll send you a style guide with tips on choosing outfits that photograph beautifully and feel true to your family. Neutral colors, soft textures, and coordinating (rather than matching) outfits always photograph well.
We have young kids. What if they don't cooperate?
That's completely okay! Children don't have to sit perfectly still or smile at the camera the entire time. Some of the sweetest moments come from letting kids simply be themselves. My goal is to create a relaxed experience where genuine smiles and connections naturally happen.
Where will our session take place?
We'll choose a location that fits your vision, whether that's a scenic outdoor setting, a cozy in-home session, or another meaningful location. I'm always happy to help recommend beautiful spots throughout North Carolina.
How long does a portrait session last?
Most portrait sessions last about 45–60 minutes, giving us plenty of time to capture a variety of images while keeping the experience enjoyable and relaxed.
How long will it take to receive our gallery?
You'll receive your professionally edited online gallery within the timeframe outlined in your contract. Every image is individually edited with my signature true-to-life style.
Will you help us pose?
Absolutely! You don't need to know what to do in front of the camera. I'll guide you with natural prompts and gentle direction so your photos feel authentic, comfortable, and full of genuine connection.
Can we bring our pets?
Of course! If your furry family member is part of your story, they're welcome to join your session. Just let me know ahead of time so we can choose a pet-friendly location.
Can we print our photos?
Yes! Your online gallery makes it easy to download, share, and order professional-quality prints and products so you can enjoy your images for years to come.
